Buckets

The CD11 comes with one bucket, and another two optional buckets. The first standard bucket is 12 inches wide and has a capacity of about 2 cubic feet. The second trenching bucket is only 6 inches wide and is ideal for installing cables or sprinkler systems. The third 20 inch wide bucket allows you to clean up and grade.

The CD21 comes with one bucket, and another two optional buckets. The first standard bucket is 13 inches wide standard (but deeper than the CD11 bucket), and has a capacity of about 2 cubic feet. The second trenching bucket is 8 inches wide and is great for digging down 7 feet to install water lines. The third 20 inch wide bucket allows you to clean up and grade.

Ripper

The ripper is attached to the bottom of the trenching bucket, and allows CanDig to dig through frozen or tough ground easier. For 2006, the ripper has been modified so that it also acts as a root cutter.

Hydraulic Breaker

The hydraulic breaker (model D&A-8V) weighs 265 pounds. It comes with two bits (wedge and point). Features an impact rate of 550 - 1000 bpm and impact power of 131 ft.lb.

Thumb

The thumb is available with both the CD21 and Mining CD21. It is a mechanical thumb that can be pinned in a retracted position for storage, and will always be available for use by quickly and easily re-pinning it into its work position.

Access Wheels

The CD11 has access wheels that pin onto the Mini Excavator in seconds, allowing it to become 28 inches wide. They are sturdy, steel wheels which allow you to push the Mini Excavator by hand, or use the hydraulic power to move it through those tight spots. The CD21 has a similar set of access wheels that can pin on quickly to allow the Mini Excavator to also become only 28 inches wide.

Hydraulic Stabilizer Arms

The hydraulic stabilizers, along with the third and forth wheels make things easy. It also gives you spare tires for the highway.

Hydraulic Auger

A 3, 6 or 8 inch auger is also available with any model, and is equipped with a torque bar for safety. It is capable of auguring 36 inches into and back out of the ground with its forward and reverse action.
